Job summary

Job description
Company Background:
Our client is a well-established technology manufacturer specializing in magnetic solutions and injection products. The company offers end-to-end services from design and R&D to mass production, supporting global customers through integrated manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Optimize production processes and SOPs; identify issues during production, implement solutions, and update work instructions accordingly.
    Improve assembly processes and tooling based on actual production usage; standardize operational procedures and conduct regular operator training.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and maintaining process documentation.
  • Establish, measure, and maintain standard cycle time and labor cost data; improve line balancing to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Maintain and update MBOM, production flow charts, and work instructions (W/I); support line layout, workstation optimization, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
  • Support new product mass production (MP) introduction, including layout, tooling, SOPs, quality control plans, testing procedures, and documentation standardization.
  • Drive EHS and JHA implementation by identifying safety risks, improving tooling, and updating safety requirements into work instructions.
  • Provide quality support by consolidating production issues, reviewing with Quality teams, and implementing corrective actions through process and WI updates.
  • Offer day-to-day shop floor support, including issue resolution, operator training, trial build support, data collection, and coordination with PE teams.
  • Support process equipment validation, SOP definition, and assist equipment teams in troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Solid background in manufacturing process engineering (PIE) with good understanding of product quality and process optimization.
  • Strong mechanical background with ability to understand production tooling, equipment, and assembly processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and CAD software.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (as need to liaise with Mandarin speaker clients)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Salary Range: RM6k - RM10k
