Job description

Job Title: Process Engineer (Plating Process)

Job Summary: Maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet internal process quality and productivity performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee plating performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, investigate process failures and recommend appropriate solutions or corrective actions
  • Work with cross‑functional teams on process capability and yield improvement projects
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of process issues and yield losses
  • Drive for continuous process improvement and permanent solutions to resolve chronic process and quality issues
  • Develop best practices, routine and innovative solutions for continuous improvement
  • Perform statistical data analysis for process improvement and interpretation of data
  • Apply problem‑solving methods and risk analysis (FMEA)

Education & Qualification:

  • Recognized degree in Engineering and Science, preferable chemical related
  • Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft applications

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly electroplating process and preferred in leadframe manufacturing industry

Skills and Competencies:

  • Possess good and effective communication skill with all levels within the organization, suppliers and customers
  • Ability to provide leadership, direction, identify and resolve issues with other departments group effectively
  • Able to work long hours and under high-pressure in fast paced environment
  • Able to implement and carry‑out improvement opportunities to identify profits and increase productivity
