Sunlite Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a leading electronics manufacturer in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

What you'll be doing

Develop, implement and maintain process control plans and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

Conduct process capability studies, identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues.

Analyse production data and use statistical methods to identify trends and optimise process parameters.

Design and implement process validation protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Provide technical support and training to production staff to enhance their understanding of processes and quality control.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve manufacturing processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

fresh graduated are welcome, or 1 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the electronics or manufacturing industry.

Lead new product integration, create documentation (BOMs, Work Instructions), coordinate trial runs, and set up new lines/equipment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Experience in process validation, equipment qualification and technical documentation.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
