As a Process and Project Manager at Green Environmental Engineering Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of critical engineering projects. Reporting directly to the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time position is based in the Kuala Lumpur/ Johor Bahru, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Job Description

1. Preparation of technical and commercial proposal including equipment specification, costing and drawing.
2. Liaising with customers for project execution and other related matters upon company’s requirement.
3. Experience in process design basis, philosophies, specification and sizing of equipment and related components.
4. Providing engineering process calculation and process equipment selection and sizing based on PFD, P&ID and specification.
5. Responsible for the overall planning, execution and completion of projects which include coordination, budgeting, scheduling and achieving the targeted project profitability.
6. Provide engineering and technical support to meet customers goals and expectation.
7. Ability to work with all levels of people and adapt to any kind of working environment.
8. To organize, coordinate and supervise delivery of equipment, site erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning work with vendors, sub-contractors and client.
9. To liaise effectively with client, authorities, contractors, suppliers and consultants.
10. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
11. Position requires travel to customer sites for appropriate support.
12. Pursue APAC projects with industrial customers in the region.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in project management/ furnace & incinerator design/ air pollution control system (APCS)/ wastewater treatment and/ or in engineering services catered for the above industries.
3. Technically competent in mechanical design, engineering analysis, equipment specification and project execution.
4. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
7. Proficient in project management software and tools.
8. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Required language(s): Malay, English and (Japanese to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients is a plus).
10. Exposure to overseas projects.
