We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Preschool Principal to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our preschool. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, demonstrate strong leadership, and ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children, teachers, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool centre, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations.
- Manage and support a team of teachers and staff, including scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure a warm, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children.
- Lead curriculum planning and implementation in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Handle parent communications, including addressing concerns, conducting parent meetings, scheduling visits, and providing updates on centre activities.
- Manage admissions, student enrollment, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor centre budget, expenses, and resource planning.
- Organize and coordinate school events, staff meetings, and training sessions.
- Act as a role model for professionalism, ethical behavior, and excellence in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in preschool teaching or management roles.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of child development, curriculum standards, and licensing requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing a preschool or childcare centre.
- Familiarity with play-based, Montessori, or inquiry-based learning approaches.
- Ability to handle administrative software and tools related to education management.
- Fluency in English; multilingual ability is a plus.
