Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Preschool Principal to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our preschool. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, demonstrate strong leadership, and ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children, teachers, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the preschool centre, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations.
• Manage and support a team of teachers and staff, including scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure a warm, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children.
• Lead curriculum planning and implementation in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Handle parent communications, including addressing concerns, conducting parent meetings, scheduling visits, and providing updates on centre activities.
• Manage admissions, student enrollment, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor centre budget, expenses, and resource planning.
• Organize and coordinate school events, staff meetings, and training sessions.
• Act as a role model for professionalism, ethical behavior, and excellence in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in preschool teaching or management roles.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum standards, and licensing requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in managing a preschool or childcare centre.
• Familiarity with play-based, Montessori, or inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Ability to handle administrative software and tools related to education management.
• Fluency in English; multilingual ability is a plus.
