Job Purpose
The Corporate Events Intern will support the team in planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events, meetings, exhibitions, and official programmes. This role provides hands‑on exposure to end‑to‑end event management, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and on‑ground event operations.
The intern will work closely with project leads and team members to ensure events are delivered smoothly, professionally, and in accordanceOGO organisational standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the planning and preparation of corporate events, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and official functions.
- Support the development of event timelines, task lists, and coordination schedules.
- Assist in preparing event proposals, concept notes, and presentation slides.
- Administrative & Documentation Support
- Prepare and manage event‑related documents such as:
- Event schedules and programmes
- Attendance lists and registration tracking
- Meeting minutes and follow‑up action items
- Quotations comparison, purchase requisitions and basic paperwork
- Proper filing (softcopy and hardcopy) for event documentation.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison
- Assist in coordinating with vendors (e.g. event organisers, decorators, AV suppliers, caterers).
- Support communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Help track deliverables and ensure vendors meet agreed requirements.
- On‑Ground Event Support
- Assist during event setup, rehearsal and actual day operations.
- Support registration counters, guest management, and coordination with protocol teams.
- Help monitor event flow and address minor operational issues under supervision.
- Post‑Event Activities
- Assist in post‑event reporting including photo compilation, feedback collection and event summary reports.
- Support reconciliation of event documents and basic cost tracking.
- Ad‑hoc Tasks
- Provide general support to the Corporate Events team as required.
- Assist in research, data collection and preparation of materials for upcoming events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or other relevant fields.
- Preferably able to commit to മന 4‑month internship. (Please indicate your internship duration on your resume, e.g., DD.MM.YYYY to DD.MM.YYYY.)
- Provide a university letter for internship placement (if applicable).
- This internship is open to Malaysian students only.

Competency Required
- Good communication skills ஜாக… written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Skills Preferred

- Prior involvement in university events, programmes, or volunteer work.
- Basic knowledge of event operations, logistics, or protocol.
