Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, with 2+ years managing teams.
• Expertise in service mesh technologies (Istio, Consul, or Envoy).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Kubernetes, API gateways, and cloud networking.
• Grasp of security fundamentals (mTLS, RBAC, zero-trust).
• Ability to debug distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Service Mesh team.
• Increase adoption of Istio for performance and security.
• Align service mesh capabilities with application requirements.
• Optimize performance and solve latency challenges.
• Escalate issues during service mesh outages.
