Accountabilities

• Analyze financial and platform data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
• Investigate anomalies in production data, identify root causes, and recommend fixes.
• Evaluate platform data flows for potential risks or compliance gaps.
• Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to business and finance stakeholders.
• Build and automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Finance and leadership.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
• Trace platform issues from a financial and accounting standpoint.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve data discrepancies and improve platform stability.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in analytics, reporting, platform management, or BI tool integration.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts (U.S. GAAP preferred).
• Experience with product, platform, payment, or accounting transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; Python scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills to distill complex data into clear insights.
