About the role

As the Plant Production Manager at KES AUTOMOTIVE SDN BHD, you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the company's manufacturing strategies. This is a full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, with opportunities to contribute to the continued growth and success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Optimise manufacturing processes and workflows to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards.

Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to align with the company's overall business objectives.

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, and procurement, to address production-related issues and challenges.

Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the production team to foster a positive and motivated work environment.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and lean manufacturing principles.

Demonstrated ability to optimise manufacturing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
