Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop construction programs for moderate to large-scale projects
  • Prepore Master Work Programme by using Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project
  • Oversee specialized planning functions such as large scale new development proposals and environmental studies
  • Prepare reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications
  • Attend monthly/weekly meetings to present the progress of the project
  • Perform and manage complex and sensitive professional planning projects, research, and analysis
  • Assign work to professional staff and ensure appropriate training is provided
  • Review overall project status with the Project Control team and Project Management and recommend corrective action where necessary
  • Ensure that management is kept fully informed about the condition of the agency and about any trends, events, or emerging issues of significance
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Professional or Civil Engineering
  • At least 10 years of working experience in the related field
  • Proven management skills and ability to manage day-to-day operations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and preparation of technical reports
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills to work effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Experience in Project Controls, Planning, EDT Analysis, Claims, and Project Management
  • Possibly prior experience specializing in Engineering construction, structural or equivalent in rail, data centers, semiconductors or high tech fiber lines
  • Willingness to work within Malaysia
