A leading construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a Project Scheduler to manage the project schedule for constructing an airport kitchen facility. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain the project schedule, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure timely project delivery. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or related fields and a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant planning experience, preferably in airport projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential.
Develop, update, and maintain the overall project schedule for the construction of the airport kitchen facility using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Plan and monitor work sequencing, manpower loading, resource allocation, and material procurement to ensure timely project delivery.
Coordinate with cll, MEP, architectural, and kitchen equipment teams to integrate their activities into the master schedule.
Track project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation or recovery plans.
Propart weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KRI tracking for management and stakeholders.
Monitor long-lead teras (kitchen equipment, MEP systems, specialized fittings) and ensure delivery aligns with construction timelines.
Conduct schedule impact analysis for variations, design changes, or unforeseen site issues.
Review subcontractor schodules to ensure alignment with the main baseline schedule.
Coordinate with procurement, site teams, and consultants to ensure timely approvals and work execution.
Assist in planning installation, testing & commissioning activities for altchen equipment, exhaust & ventiation systems, and MEF utilities.
Ensure compliance with airport safirty regulations, restricted-zane access procemures, and operational constraints.
Participate in coordination meetings and present schedule updates and critical path analyses.
Suppert project mase out planning, including as built schedule preparation and handover documentation.
Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related fein.
Minimum 4-5 years planning experience in construction projects cxperience in airport projects or kitchen facility construction is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (proferred) or MS Project.
Understanding of CSA, MEP, interior fit out, and kachen equipment installation sequencing.
Good proficiency in English (spoken and written) for communication with project teams and contractors.
Strong analytical, enormination, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-security enviroment and comply with airport aushanty requirements.
Familar with baseline development, progress measurement, 5-curve, critical path analysis, and delay Impact.
