Requirements
- Minimum SPM (Diploma in related field is an advantage)
- Experience in retail pharmacy, clinic, or customer service is an added advantage
- Basic understanding of medications (training will be provided)
- Comfortable working with animals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Able to work weekends and public holidays (rotational basis)
Responsibilities
Pharmacy and Dispensing Duties
- Prepare and dispense medications according to veterinary instructions.
- Ensure accurate medication labeling and dosage instructions.
- Provide pet owners with basic medication instructions (non-medical advice).
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area.
- Regularly check medication expiration dates and rotate stock.
- Assist with ordering and replenishing medication inventory.
Cashier and Front Desk Support
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
- Issue receipts and perform daily cash reconciliation.
- Assist clients with registration, check-out, and general inquiries.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
Inventory and Supplies Management
- Update inventory records and assist with periodic inventory counts.
- Assist with receiving and organizing new shipments.
- Promptly report out-of-stock items to the supervisor or veterinarian.
Administrative Support
- Assist with printing labels, preparing prescriptions, and filing documents.
- Accurately enter data into the clinic system.
Maintain smooth communication with the front desk, pharmacy, and treatment rooms.
