Core Responsibilities
1. Medication Dispensing & Patient Assistance
- Assist the pharmacist in the dispensing process by accurately packaging, labeling, and preparing medications.
- Provide clear explanations and guidance to patients on the proper use and storage of their medications.
- Receive and process incoming prescriptions for the pharmacist’s review and verification.
2. Inventory & Store Management
- Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently by ordering, receiving, and organizing stock according to the First-Expire-First-Out (FEFO) system.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and minimize expired items.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene of both the pharmacy and the stockroom.
3. Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product selection and inquiries.
- Accurately process sales transactions, including cash and electronic payments.
- Handle customer concerns or feedback professionally to ensure a positive experience and customer retention.
4. Administrative Support
- Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, filing records, and maintaining documentation.
- Assist in daily operational routines, including opening and closing procedures.
- Support the pharmacist in compliance-related recordkeeping and reporting as required by regulatory bodies.
Added Advantage
- Social Media & Digital Skills: Ability to assist in creating simple health awareness posts, capturing photos/videos for pharmacy updates, or engaging customers online is an added advantage.
