Job Description
- Managing outlet daily operation, inventory, and maintenance of required records for pharmacy sector.
- Dispensing and compounding medications as prescribed by doctor/physician.
- Monitoring customers' drug therapies, advising interventions and informing customers of potential side effects.
- Conducting basic health and wellness screening, and providing professional value-added services to customers such as smoking cessation counseling, pharmacist vaccinator/travel health consult, lactation pharmacist, cataract screening, sexual health education, and etc.
- Conducting health talks and participating in roadshows and events from time to time to enhance the company’s presence in the community.
- Responsible for business development, including exploring new business opportunities, including new market trends, customers, partnership, products, and services.
- Performing other administrative roles when needed.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree of Pharmacy recognized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
- Valid state licensure and certifications – full FRP registration, full registration with Pharmacy Board Malaysia.
- Experience in retail pharmacy stores will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years working in community pharmacy setting.
- Being able to start immediately is an added advantage.
