Your role
Key responsibilities include:
- Meet sales targets by securing new quality loans aligned with management’s portfolio mix decisions.
- Maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including car dealers.
- Ensure loan application documents from dealers/customers comply with guidelines.
- Authenticate identification, income, and vehicle documents.
- Obtain customer consent before proceeding with loan applications.
- Interview applicants and conduct thorough KYC checks.
- Perform accurate data entry in LOAD$ system.
- Conduct CTOS enquiries and prepare credit recommendations or write-ups for loan applications.
- Provide daily updates to dealers on case statuses.
- Ensure timely issuance of Letter of Undertaking and follow up on HP Agreement execution.
- Serve Product Disclosure Sheet (PDS), brief customers on HP Agreement content, and witness agreement execution.
- Investigate and follow up on delayed approval and disbursement cases.
- Prepare proposals for panel dealerships and related facilities.
- Conduct site visits as required.
- Perform ad hoc duties assigned by management.
- Act as a buddy to new joiners, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and manage relationships with car dealers.
- Engage in cross-selling efforts to provide referrals and leads for Hong Leong Group companies.
- Adhere to department SOPs, audit, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
About you
The company is looking for candidates who have:
- At least SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build business relationships with customers and car dealers.
- Own transport.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent adaptability and execution skills.
- Fresh graduates or minimum 1 year working experience in Banking or Auto industry.
