Role Description
This role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be a part of people operations, including onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day HR processes, while also supporting recruitment activities such as screening, interview coordination, and hiring documentation when required.
Responsibilities
- Own and run employee engagement initiatives while acting as the first point of contact to ensure a positive day-to-day employee experience.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientations and onboarding programs, to ensure employees feel welcomed, well-informed, and supported from day one through exit.
- Handle core HR operations including HRIS accuracy, employee records, contracts, letters, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage HRDC matters including training grant applications, claims, reporting, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Support recruitment activities when required, including screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and hiring documentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in handling similar task or in general people operations
- Proven ability to excel well as an individual contributor in similar role scope
- A hands-on HR professional who combines strong execution with sharp thinking, continuous improvement, and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver HR initiatives on time while coordinating across stakeholders.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly adjust to changes and challenges in a dynamic environment, maintaining composure and a strategic focus under pressure.
- Makes informed, ethical decisions that balance the needs of various stakeholders, while managing sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and facilitating open dialogue, while building and maintaining positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Meticulous in managing details with exceptional ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring precision and effectiveness in execution.
- Demonstrates a high level of understanding and sensitivity to individual employee needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace environment.
- Experience in employee engagement initiatives (e.g. surveys, activities, or culture programs) will be an added advantages.
