Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is looking for a Pelletmill Operator to manage pelletmill operations and ensure the quality of pelletized feed. Responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining records, and performing daily machinery maintenance. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and an SPM qualification. This role requires attention to detail and good housekeeping practices on the pelletmill floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform Pellet Durability Index Test and Crumble Feed Sieving Test.
• Experience with machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Run the pelletmill efficiently and ensure quality.
• Keep records on equipment conditions.

Job description

Responsible for the efficient running of the pelletmill and the quality of pelletized feed.

Carry out Pellet Durability Index Test and Crumble Feed Sieving Test, and liaise with Group Leader in Pellet Durability Index adjustment and pelletizing program.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Keep records on pelletmill die and press rolls condition, and keep Senior Engineer, Feed Process informed.

Responsible for daily pelletmill production reports and other relevant records, as well as daily machinery maintenance.

Verification and Housekeeping

Verify the temperature gauge of the pelletmill once a week.

Responsible for housekeeping of the pelletmill floor.

Additional Tasks

Carry out any other relevant tasks as and when required by HOD and Section Head from time to time.
