Purpose of Role

To deliver engaging and relevant Visual Arts instruction in accordance with the KSSM curriculum, nurturing students’ creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation for the arts while supporting their holistic development.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons based on the KSSM PE syllabus for Forms 1–5.
  • Integrate Malaysian cultural heritage and contemporary art practices into lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression.
  • Organize and curate student art exhibitions and school-wide art initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and school events.
  • Manage and maintain art supplies, tools, and classroom cleanliness.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to curriculum enhancement.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Science Education, or a related field (required).
  • Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education or equivalent).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
