PCB Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and responsible PCB Technician to handle repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of printed circuit boards (PCB). The successful candidate will support daily technical operations, ensure PCB quality and functionality, and assist in improving repair efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair and rework on PCB assemblies (SMT / through-hole components)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PCB faults using test equipment
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on PCB-related equipment
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and component replacement accurately
• Inspect PCB quality and ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain proper documentation for repair and maintenance activities
• Assist engineering or production teams when required
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in PCB repair, soldering, and troubleshooting is preferred
• Able to read schematic diagrams and PCB layouts
• Familiar with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and basic test equipment
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SMT rework stations and hot air tools
• Knowledge of ESD handling and IPC standards
• Prior experience in manufacturing or electronics repair environment
