In the Payroll & Finance Executive role, you’ll play a hybrid role with a dual focus on regional payroll management and general finance support. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll across multiple countries while also supporting our day-to-day accounting operations. From payroll reconciliations and statutory compliance to assisting with accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions, you’ll be a key player in keeping our financial engine running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who’s meticulous with details, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast-moving, regional environment.
What you will do:
- Oversee and review monthly payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with local payroll executives in each country to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Reconcile payroll calculations (salaries, allowances, deductions, reimbursements) before disbursement.
- Verify that all statutory payments and filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries escalated by local executives.
- Prepare consolidated payroll reports and summaries for management review.
Accounting & Finance
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Treasury: Process vendor invoices and staff claims, prepare payment runs, perform bank reconciliations, and support cash flow activities.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Assist with billing, invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- General Ledger (GL): Perform monthly reconciliations, prepare journal entries (accruals, prepayments, adjustments), and support month-end/year-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities when needed.

- Highly detail-oriented and accurate in your work.
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership, especially when working across countries.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with multiple teams.
- Tech-savvy and eager to explore automation and smarter ways of working.
- Able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Currently pursuing or holding a professional qualification (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CPA).
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting (AP, AR, GL), ideally in a regional or mid-to-large-sized organization.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Good to have:
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or startup environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar systems.
- Exposure to regional payroll processing and HRIS/HRMS tools.
- Experience with process automation or system migration projects.
- Basic GenAI prompt engineering knowledge.
