As a Partner Alliance Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in our Go‑To‑Market (GTM) organization. Your mission is to build, manage, and scale strategic partnerships that drive mutual revenue growth and market expansion within our APAC region. You will bridge the gap between high‑level strategy and operational execution, ensuring that every alliance translates into tangible business results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic GTM & Business Development
- Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute partnership strategies to increase market reach and access new customer segments (Fintech, Banking, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Telco etc.).
- Joint Business Planning: Lead the creation of joint business and sales/marketing plans aligned with revenue objectives with UST and Partner teams.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with UST internal sales & client partners, as well as Partner Sales teams to build and maintain a robust lead pipeline.
- Market Expansion: Proactively identify and recruit new partners (resellers, system integrators, Hyperscalers, SaaS platform service providers, etc.) to accelerate sales growth.
Operational Execution & Engagement
- Governance & Accountability: Facilitate joint governance meetings, prepare agendas, and aggressively follow up on open action items to ensure momentum.
- Relationship Nurturing: Meet partners regularly to be updated on latest features and service renewals, facilitate product training for UST internal teams, and ensure pre‑requisites are met for partnerships.
- Co‑Branding & Events: Plan and execute joint marketing activities using MDF, co‑branded promotional campaigns, and networking events to amplify brand impact.
- Performance Reviews: Lead internal and external Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to track KPIs such as partner effectiveness, CSAT, etc.
Contractual & Agreement Lifecycle
- Agreement Management: Direct the negotiation and implementation of essential legal frameworks, including NDAs, MSAs, and LOIs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between Legal and Finance departments to manage contract amendments, renewals, and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all partnership activities strictly adhere to internal policies and local regulatory requirements (APAC).
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Marketing, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of total experience with min 3 years of experience in alliance marketing, channel management, or business development.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (specifically high‑level PowerPoint for executive presentations).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) for tracking partner engagement and lead funnels.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills to manage high‑value contracts and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, "results‑oriented" mindset with the ability to manage complex initiatives.
