Job summary

A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking an Oracle Transaction Management & B2B Integration Specialist to manage end-to-end transaction flows across Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) environments. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with Oracle SCM/ERP modules, oversee B2B integrations, and provide comprehensive operational support. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Oracle Transaction Management & B2B Integration Specialist

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end transaction flows across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Logistics modules within the Oracle ecosystem. The person ensures seamless B2B integrations between internal systems and external partners, resolves transaction failures, and supports business users on daily operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
1. Transaction Management
  • Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot daily transaction flows across O2C, P2P, Inventory, Shipping, and Finance modules.
  • Resolve transaction failures (stuck workflows, interface errors, incomplete transactions).
  • Perform root-cause analysis for issues related to orders, shipments, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain transaction accuracy by clearing errors in interface tables, transaction queues, and workflow notifications.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure data integrity across modules.
2. B2B / Integration Support
  • Oversee B2B integrations (EDI/API/XML/JSON) between Oracle and external partners including vendors, customers, logistics providers, and financial institutions.
  • Troubleshoot B2B transaction failures (850/855/860/810, ASN, shipping notices, GRN, PO acknowledgements, etc.).
  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure successful message mapping, data transformation, and document validation.
  • Track file transmission (inbound/outbound), confirm successful processing, and resolve mapping exceptions.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend system enhancements for transaction automation and B2B stability.
  • Work with business users to streamline workflows and reduce manual interventions.
  • Support UAT, regression testing, and new feature rollout.
4. User & Operational Support
  • Provide L1/L2 production support for transactional issues.
  • Train end-users on Oracle process flows and best practices.
  • Prepare SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and regular performance reports.
5. Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for integrations, system changes, and mapping rules.
JOB SPECIFICATION (JS)
Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business Information Systems, or related field.

Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience with Oracle transaction management or Oracle SCM/ERP modules.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in O2C/P2P transaction flows.
  • Experience with B2B integrations (EDI/X12/EDIFACT/XML/API).
  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution environment preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Good understanding of Oracle SCM modules (Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping, AR/AP).
  • Familiar with interface tables, concurrent programs, workflow notifications, and transaction debugging.
  • Knowledge of EDI standards (850, 855, 856, 810, 997, etc.) and integration tools (API, middleware, SFTP).
  • Ability to read technical logs and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
  • Understanding of master data structures (items, customers, suppliers).
  • Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
