A leading study abroad consultancy is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee centre operations in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves managing a team, ensuring high conversion rates for enquiries, and implementing effective processes. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant experience in overseas education, a Bachelor's Degree, and strong sales and communication skills. This position offers up to 60,000 MYR, negotiable based on the industry standard.

Operations Manager – Study Abroad

Location:Marine Drive, Kochi

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Salary:Upto 60,000 (negotiable as per industry standard)

Experience:3–6 years of experience in study abroad/overseas education

Requirements
  • 3–6 years of experience in study abroad/overseas education with at least 1–2 years in team handling or branch/centre operations.
  • Proven experience meeting sales/admissions targets and generating leads via offline and online channels.
  • Strong understanding of international admissions and student visa processes (UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, counselling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup with high ownership and limited operational support.
  • Proficiency in CRM/lead management tools, MS Office, and basic reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end study abroad centre operations including counselling, applications, documentation, visa coordination, fees, and post-landing support.
  • Lead, train, and manage a small team (counsellors, telecallers, front office) with clear targets and regular performance reviews.
  • Drive lead generation through local marketing initiatives: school/college visits, education fairs, seminars/webinars, WhatsApp/email campaigns, and partnerships with agents/institutes.
  • Ensure high walk-in and enquiry conversion through timely follow-up, quality counselling, and achievement of monthly enquiry, application, and revenue targets.
  • Track key metrics (leads, conversions, revenue, TAT, student satisfaction) and present weekly reports to founders.
  • Implement and refine SOPs, processes, and checklists suited for a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ensure a professional customer experience in front office operations, call handling, complaint management, and feedback closure.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing/SEO teams for local campaigns, content needs, and follow-up on online-generated leads.
