A leading construction firm in Johor Bahru seeks a Project Manager to oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and lead site teams. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in Construction Management and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. The role requires regular site visits and management of multiple projects, with a valid driving license necessary. Our Construction & Renovation division delivers high-quality building, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We focus on efficient project execution, cost control, and delivering exceptional workmanship with safety and compliance as top priorities.
Oversee daily construction and renovation site operations across multiple projects.
Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, resources, and manpower.
Ensure all works meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Conduct site inspections, resolve issues, and ensure smooth site progress.
Lead and supervise site teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Coordinate subcontractor schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Provide clear instructions and support to site supervisors and workers.
Monitor project budgets, materials usage, and cost efficiency.
Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and claims.
Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with clients regarding project progress, changes, and approvals.
Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Liaise with consultants, architects, and local authorities when required.
Improve operational processes for better efficiency and workflow.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Support management in strategic project planning and resource allocation.
Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction, renovation, or project management.
Strong leadership skills with hands‑on operational experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem‑solving, planning, and decision‑making skills.
Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
Must be willing to visit and supervise sites regularly.
Valid driving license required.
