Job summary

A multinational manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is seeking a professional to support their Regional Operations Team. The role involves leading ERP system implementation, analyzing processes, and training team members. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, along with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is advantageous. This position requires adaptability, good communication skills, and the ability to work across various departments.

Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing-related role.
  • Exposure to working with multinational companies or regional subsidiaries is an added advantage.
  • Any formal training such as 7 QC tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management is an added advantage.

Job description

Provide support to the Regional Operations Team.

Lead the implementation of a new ERP system and participate in analyzing and evaluating Production, Logistics, and Quality processes.

Identify and propose process improvements based on data analysis.

Train team members on effective ERP usage.

Provide support in operational processes across subsidiaries in the region, when needed.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Process Engineering.

1 – 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing-related role.

Exposure to working with multinational companies or regional subsidiaries is an added advantage.

Good problem-solving skills/experience through projects in current or previous roles.

Technical & Professional Skills

Basic understanding of Production, Logistics, and Quality Control practices.

Knowledge of production process standardization and optimization techniques.

Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, or similar tools is an advantage.

Any formal training such as 7 QC tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management is an added advantage.

Ability to present information clearly and confidently to management and group audiences.

Good communication skills; fluent in English.

Willing to work on the production floor and in challenging environments, if required.

Willing to travel internationally at any time of the year.
