Job description

We are seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our Pickleball facility! As an operations crew, you will be responsible in delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting the efficient operation of our pickleball courts.

Key Responsibilities
On-Ground Operations
  • Help run the day-to-day court operations smoothly and safely.
  • Set up and maintain courts, equipment, and overall club vibe.
  • Support events on or off the courts including but not limited to logistics, setup and cleanup.
  • Report issues or feedback to management.
  • Coordinate with coaches.
  • Oversee inventories, purchases, and cash handling procedures.
Facility Operations & Administration
  • Overseeing facility bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Open and close the facility according to schedule.
  • Manage court bookings, reservations, and walk-ins.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of all scheduled activities and programs.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
  • Coordinate, support and create events (e.g. parties), tournaments, and clinics.
  • Liaise with vendors, maintenance personnel, or instructors as needed.
  • Oversee any other facilities operating in the pickleball court.
Customer Service
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Handle customer queries on pickleball including guidance on gameplay, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Greet and assist players, answer questions related to pickleball, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee membership subscriptions and communication with members.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Adhering to all health, safety and security protocols.
Community Engagement
  • Get to know our community and coaches.
  • Encourage participation in events, programmes and community campaigns.
  • Be a positive representative of Arena Pickle.
  • Promote the facility and increase usage of the facility.
Person Specification
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organised and proactive with problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience managing or supervising a leisure/sports facility (min. 1 year).
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices and service improvement models.
  • Knowledge of facility operations, scheduling, and staffing.

Interest or experience in pickleball or racquet sports is preferred.

Personal Attributes
  • Enthusiastic about creating a vibrant and active pickleball community, self‑motivated, and committed to high standards.
  • Experience running recreational programmes or tournaments is a bonus (not a must!).
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and independently.
  • Punctual, responsible and team‑oriented.
  • Resides in or near Nilai (Residensi KLIA) with access to own transport.

This is a full‑time role with flexible hours and shift‑based duties, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. Confidentiality is a must—staff must not disclose company or personnel information outside of job duties.
