Job summary

A well-established food and beverage manufacturing company is looking for an Operational Technology Manager to enhance their operational technology systems. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and cybersecurity of manufacturing operations. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, alongside strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.

Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a well-established food and beverage manufacturing company. They are looking for an Operational Technology Manager to lead and strengthen their OT systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and cybersecurity across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure reliability, availability, and resilience of critical OT systems to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, including cybersecurity threats and equipment failures.
  • Implement and maintain robust OT cybersecurity measures, staying updated on emerging risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company Operating Manual, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and plan upgrades of OT technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Optimize operational costs while balancing technology investments.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to align strategies, integrate systems, and strengthen cybersecurity.
  • Develop and implement incident response and recovery plans.
  • Monitor system performance, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive long-term OT strategy aligned with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA (Siemens, B&R, B&W preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP Maintenance Module knowledge an advantage.
  • Understanding of automation communication protocols, OT cybersecurity, and network setup.
