Key Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to overall company strategies while adhering to established rules, regulations, and policies.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with operating procedures, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Keep management and stakeholders informed of operational issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Inventory Management
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize inventory levels to meet KPIs such as delivery performance and stock holding.
- Review inventory safety levels and obsolescence using tools such as ERP-JDE, PowerBI, CRM, and IQM.
- Manage ordering processes with suppliers and external parties effectively.
- Ensure products are stored and delivered on a first-in-first-out basis.
- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
Warehousing & Distribution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute warehouse and distribution workflows efficiently.
- Review work processes and resource utilization to improve productivity.
- Ensure optimal use of warehouse space and material handling methods.
- Maintain adequate equipment, tooling, and consumables for warehouse operations.
- Engage and manage external parties such as transporters and forwarding agents to support distribution activities.
Administrative & Office Support
- Oversee office administration and ensure facilities are well maintained.
- Liaise with contractors, cleaners, and landlords to ensure smooth office operations.
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and order intake efficiently.
- Respond promptly to sales and service requests.
- Implement processes and controls to safeguard target gross profit levels.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, including inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JDE), CRM tools, and reporting platforms such as PowerBI.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to manage administrative tasks and support sales/customer service functions effectively.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
