Methodist College Penang, Pykett Campus is looking for an Operation Executive, (Hostel & Campus Management). Are you proactive, organized, and ready to take charge of hostel day-to-day operational needs of the campus? This role functions like the “heart” of the campus, overseeing hostel operations, facilities maintenance, safety, administration, and supporting the overall student experience.

Job Description

Prepare and process monthly utility bills, usage tracking, and cost calculations.

Manage administrative documentation including contracts, inventories, hostel records, and SOP files.

Oversee day-to-day hostel operations including check-ins, check-outs, room allocation, and facility upkeep.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, preventive maintenance, and project works.

Track weekly and monthly hostel occupancy, residents’ matters, disciplinary cases, and campus operational updates.

Support ISO-QMS documentation, updates, and compliance requirements.

Assist in budget preparation, financial tracking, and data entry into the college’s finance system.

Provide operational support to general college functions and events when required.

Job Requirement

Possess a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study.

Must be able to work from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility to adjust working hours when required for hostel-related services.

Able to remain contactable for urgent or emergency matters outside normal working hours.

Required to have a valid Malaysian driving license.

Possess good computer literacy and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.

Able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, verbal and in writing.
