Job summary

A leading Malaysian company is seeking an Accounts Executive based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing cheques, managing petty cash, and handling property tax issues. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in MS Excel. A team player with strong communication skills in English and BM is ideal. The position requires travel to various site offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Accounting / Finance or its equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Accounts or Finance Executive.
• Team player, yet independent and resourceful.
• Detailed oriented and able to converse in English & BM.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Must possess own transport and be able to travel to various site offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cheques for payment, refund deposit, and manage petty cash.
• Prepare invoices, collect rent, service fee, and arrears.
• Control and carry out arrears management.
• Handle property tax issues and prepare property tax payments.
• Liaise with auditors and coordinate auditing of accounts.
• Work closely with Accounting Team to ensure accuracy of records.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Directors.
