Overview

This is a full-time Offshore Inspector role based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As the Offshore Inspector, you will play a vital part in the operations of the ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM, ensuring the safety and efficiency of their oil and gas facilities. Your strategic oversight and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the high standards that the company is known for.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular inspections of offshore platforms, rigs and other facilities to assess their condition and identify any issues or areas for improvement
• Monitoring the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Analysing data and generating reports on the performance and status of offshore assets
• Collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement corrective actions as needed
• Providing technical guidance and support to offshore operations personnel
• Participating in risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all inspections and findings

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Offshore Inspector or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry
• Strong technical knowledge of offshore platforms, drilling rigs and other oil and gas production facilities
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying industry regulations and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols
• Familiar with offshore inspection procedures and reporting requirements
• Valid offshore survival and safety certifications
