The company focuses on improving patient’s quality of life by offering innovative options such as the Automated Peritoneal Dialysis system – Intellis, which enables home‑based night treatments.

Role Description

This is a full‑time Patient Care Specialist role located in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya. Daily tasks include managing and supporting patients at home on peritoneal dialysis systems and assisting hospital nurses and doctors to facilitate patients’ transition to home peritoneal dialysis. The role requires a compassionate approach and a strong commitment to patient well‑being.

Essential / Primary Responsibilities

• Managing patients on peritoneal dialysis systems at home.
• Recruiting new patients from hospitals or outside hospitals.
• Leading funding applications for patients.
• Continuously checking up on the well‑being of patients and their outcomes.
• Conducting home visits for assessment and training.
• Delivering emergency supplies to patients.
• Checking and reporting inventory in patients’ homes and in hospitals.
• Assisting in promotional activities and marketing material distribution.
• Making reports on visits and training via electronic media.
• Managing relationships with hospital nurses to assist in training, teaching and education.
• Training nurses of the company and, when instructed, personnel of hospitals and other CKD care centres.
• Performing any other job or task delegated by superiors and management.

Working Hours

Depending on the operational requirements of the company, working days will be Monday‑Friday. It may be necessary to travel to complete duties outside of normal hours or during the rest day(s). The rest day may change as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a medical assistant (required).
• Experience in renal care or dialysis centre (advantage).
• Excellent communication skills and good people skills.
• Proficiency in patient care and direct patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Must have a driver’s licence for frequent travelling to different locations.
