The company focused on improving patient’s quality of life by offering innovative options like the Automated Peritoneal Dialysis system – Intellis, which enables home-based night treatments.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for Patient Care Specialist located in Penang. Daily tasks include manage & support patients at home on peritoneal dialysis system and assist hospital nurses & doctors to faciliate patients for home peritoneal dialysis transition. This role requires a compassionate approach and a strong commitment to patient well-being.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential/Primary Responsibilities
  • Managing patients on peritoneal dialysis systems at home.
  • Recruiting new patients from hospitals or outside hospitals.
  • Lead funding applications for patients.
  • Continuously check up on the well-being of patients and their outcomes.
  • Conduct home visits for assessment and training.
  • Deliver emergency supplies to patients.
  • Check and report inventory in patients’ homes and in hospitals.
  • Assist in promotional activities and marketing material distribution.
  • Make reports on visits and training via electronic media.
  • Manage relationships with hospital nurses to assist in training teaching and education.
  • Train nurses of the company and when instructed, personnel of hospitals and other centers of CKD care.
  • Any other job or task delegated to you by your superior and management.
Performance Markers
  • Continuous decline in patient adverse events to less than 50% of national average.
  • Patient and healthcare providers are satisfied and loyalty.
  • Nursing response to patients, quality, and timing
  • Quality of nurses’ and technicians’ soft skills and patient relationships.
  • Patient recruitment together with the program department.
Working Hours

Depending on the operation requirement of the company, your working days will be Monday – Friday.

It may be necessary for you to travel to complete your duties after these hours or during the rest day(s).

The rest day may be changed.
