Job description

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and TypeScript, reporting directly to the Software Architect.

Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements using Node.js and Vue.js

Liaise with regional offices and international colleagues on support and service-related matters

Perform post-deployment monitoring and implementation support for global applications

Responsibilities

• Build strong collaboration with international development teams to support projects and enhance product offerings.
• Coordinate meetings and technical discussions with customers or colleagues across multiple countries to demonstrate technical solutions.
• Identify potential technical requirements and project opportunities, providing timely and effective feedback.
• Work closely with the Project Manager during implementation to ensure smooth execution and achievement of project goals.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new frameworks and technologies to deliver effective solutions.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams in an international business environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with Next.js and Vue.js
• Cantonese proficiency is mandatory (spoken and written)
• Comfortable working in an international environment with colleagues from multiple countries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and coordinate skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting or deploying global or regional applications.
• Exposure to working with overseas clients or international offices.
