Position: IT Administrator (Network & Server)

About the Role

Join a specialist hospital ICT team as an IT Administrator handling both network and server operations. You’ll ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems supporting clinical and administrative teams. Work with internal teams and external vendors to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the hospital’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Administer servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), HCI, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Support Windows Server, Linux OS, Active Directory/Entra ID, backups, and disaster recovery drills.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network and server performance.
• Implement security measures, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain documentation, perform knowledge transfer, and assist desktop support teams.
• Participate in on-call support and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent (Diploma with experience considered).
• 5+ years in IT administration (network & server).
• Hands-on experience with networking, servers, virtualization, cloud services, and security tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, VMware, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
