Job summary

A leading global IT services company is looking for a Network and Security Operations specialist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in network support, hands-on knowledge in network implementation, and strong skills in Firewalls, VPN, and LAN operations. Familiarity with Palo Alto and Cisco products is essential. This role requires excellent collaboration skills to work with global peers and adapt to fast-paced changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working expertise in network support in a sizable organization.
• Must be hands-on expertise in sizable network implementation and support.
• CCNA / CCNP with equivalent expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support Security baselining, Firewalls, VPN, Data Center, Campus LAN.
• Document operational support procedures and network diagrams.
• Collaborate with global network peers.

Skills

TCP/IP and networking protocols

Configuration and troubleshooting in Routing & switching

Security products like Firewalls, VPN, Web Proxy

Campus LAN, Wireless networks

DHCP, DNS and IP address management

SNMP and API based monitoring tools
