Job summary

A global technology services provider in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Network Engineer (L2) to deliver remote and onsite technical support to clients. Responsibilities include managing incidents, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT, 5+ years of hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, and relevant certifications. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience implementing LAN, WAN and security devices.
• Moderate level experience in technical support to clients.
• Moderate level experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Moderate level experience providing remote and onsite support in Collaboration technologies.
• Moderate level experience in relevant technology (Cisco, AudioCodes, Oracle).
• Moderate level experience of Network routing, switching, and security devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the assigned infrastructure at the client site is operational.
• Identifies problems and errors proactively.
• Liaises with stakeholders to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Investigates second line support calls and identifies root causes.
• Responds to alerts and escalates unresolved issues to L3 Field Engineer.
• Ensures incidents are updated timely with progress and resolution.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field

Professional level certification in different Data Centre technologies (CCNP, ONTApp)

Professional level certification in different Networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)

Collaboration certifications (Valid CCNP Collaboration Certification, Security devices)
