Job description
Primary Objective
  • Understand client business rules and Blueprint
  • Ensure testing of client system in line with Blueprint
  • To ensure timely meeting of client requirements during Project
  • Manage communication with client on issues, changes, etc.
  • Develop and ensure control procedures are followed and signed-off
  • Ensure all implementation project documentation is kept on a common drive and kept up to date using information provided by the implementation team, delivery team, project management and client.
  • Ensure client payroll procedure manuals are completed and stored on a common drive
  • Act as a leader for all test programs (Upgrades, patches and clients under implementation)
  • Be present for and available for all new clients from YTD load completion up to and including the 1st live payrun.
  • Ensure handover of Implementation sites to Team Leader.
  • Support Team Leaders during periods where no implementations are being delivered.
Role Responsibilities
  • Working with the MPS Manager/Project Manager in taking accountability for
  • Liaising directly with Client on implementations
  • Ensuring high level of client service
  • Participate in process review and implementation of recommendations
  • Monitor compliance to Client's staff policies related to payroll during implementation
  • Continually review implementation processes and make recommendations
  • Work in conjunction with Project Managers on Issues log during implementation
  • Understand and monitor implementation of any upgrades and patches and the testing of these prior to loading into the live environment
  • Ensure schedules are being met according to client/county implementation schedules up to go live
  • Check and approve all parallel payroll reports and reconciliations prior to delivery to client

  • Ensure Client's compliance to relevant country taxation and other statutory legislation
  • Coordinate with the IT team for all testing of EFT files of the specified clients/countries payments
  • Keep all relevant documentation on implementation project up to date including: reconciliation spreadsheets, how to manuals, test tools
  • Understand all country legislative updates, document impact on processing changes and knowledge transfer to MPS implementation project team
  • Maintain Awareness of implementation group
  • Ensure Legislative changes as advised by Legislative Co-ordinator are incorporated into procedures and manuals
  • Ensure handover of implementation projects to Team Leader is performed during transition
Management Responsibilities
  • As this role will encompass multi client/country combinations -- the ability to work flexible hours is essential including weekend work
  • High degree of commitment and ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • High Level of organizational skills - Ability to perform multiple tasks and to set and monitor Priorities.

Technical Skills required
  • Ability and knowledge in running SAP Payroll within the ADP ASP template model.
Process Skills required
  • Pay Office administration (recent experience of at least 5 years in payroll or related roles) – Able to implement continual improvement process
  • Manage payroll in the ADP-MPS environment for various Asia Pacific countries
Customer Service Skills
  • High degree of commitment and ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the client to deliver outstanding customer service
Communication Skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills, including mentoring for professional development
