Qualifications

Job description

The MES Support Specialist responsibilities may include and not limit to :

Provides technical assistance and support for end-users across on any MES related issues.

This role requires 24x7 availability to ensure uninterrupted IT support for global manufacturing operations.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 coverage.

Respond to and resolve the MES issue and attend to routine request from operation via email, and remote tools within defined SLAs.

Monitor and attend to Service Now request queues in “EA – Camstar”.

Monitor on the alert or error triggering from IT Tools with email and trigger to SME for issue that not able to resolve by MES Support Specialist.

Collaborate with MES Subject Mater Expert for escalation and root cause analysis.

Other related MES Support duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree equivalent or Diploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Experience of industry manufacturing process with MES background exp. OpCenter Camstar is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications example Microsoft Outlook, Excel.

Familiarity with remote support tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.

Works well with others and can foster a positive work environment.

Good communications and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good knowledge in IT systems specifically on MES or ERP.

Had experience on manufacturing process of electronic or medical industrial.

Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
