Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Penang is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle cost management and procurement for various projects. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying, along with proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Qualifications

• Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
• Familiarity with local Malaysian standards and regulations for electrical installation.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze RFQs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Develop procurement technical specifications and prepare package definition documents.
• Coordinate the preparation of pre-bid design optimization proposals.
