This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient interactions and care throughout the teleconsultation experience. A Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery is required, along with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent medical degree.
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Holds a valid and updated Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Gained at least five years of experience working in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Request relevant investigations and interpret the results obtained.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Develop and implement patient management plans collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide teleconsultation and issue Electronic Prescriptions in accordance with guidelines.
• Engage in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance medical expertise.

The ideal candidate will not only provide exceptional medical care remotely but also possess a strong customer service mindset, ensuring that patients receive personalized attention and support throughout their teleconsultation experience. This role encompasses delivering high-quality care, fostering positive patient interactions, supporting pharmacists with medical advice, and actively participating in data analysis to enhance service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments (in person or virtual as needed) to formulate an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Request relevant investigations and interpret the results obtained.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Develop and implement patient management plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams where required.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide teleconsultation through My Health Advisor and issuance of Electronic Prescriptions (EPS) in accordance with clinical and telemedicine practice guidelines.
• Maintain professional standards of clinical knowledge, communication and behaviour with patients and colleagues.
• Engage in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance medical expertise.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to perform related medical duties as per service requirements.
