Job summary

A ceramic manufacturing company based in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to supervise hydraulic and mechanical operations in tile pressing. The ideal candidate will oversee machine operation, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes while ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in automated manufacturing environments. This role demands strong analytical and communication skills, as well as familiarity with PLC and automation systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a production or maintenance engineering role, preferably in heavy industry or automated manufacturing.
• Familiar with hydraulic/mechanical presses, automation systems, and PLCs.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshoot system faults.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the operation of hydraulic or mechanical tile pressing machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or automation issues on press equipment.
• Analyze process performance data and recommend improvements to cycle time and efficiency.
