They’re looking for a Mechanical Process Design Engineer to help in research, design, developing and installing various mechanical and thermal systems and devices, from everyday tools to complex machinery. Job Overview

Researching, designing, developing, testing, and installing various mechanical and thermal systems and devices, from everyday tools to complex machinery. Analyzes problems, creates solutions, manages projects from concept to completion, performs calculations and testing, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and safety standards. Work also involves overseeing manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment, and creating technical documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process Documentation & Standardization
    • Create, update, and release process documents such as process flow charts, work instructions, inspection procedures, and technical guidelines.
    • Conduct training to ensure technicians and operators understand process requirements.
  • Process Control & Performance
    • Monitor and improve key process KPIs, including First-pass yield, process cost optimization, safety control and prevention of work‑related accidents.
  • Process Troubleshooting
    • Provide technical support to resolve mechanical or process‑related issues on the production floor.
    • Analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Process Optimization & Design Improvements
    • Lead mechanical process optimization activities (tooling improvements, workflow changes, quality enhancements).
    • Design, develop, test, and deliver production fixtures, jigs, and tooling within set timelines.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturability, efficiency, and product robustness.
  • Design, manufacture, test, and deliver production‑related fixtures on time.
  • Other temporary tasks—Timely completion of temporary tasks related to process work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, process engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge and skills in APQP, SWOT, PDCA, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, 5W2H, Computer‑Aided Design (CAD), proficiency in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, programming for data analysis, and critical soft skills including problem‑solving, communication, teamwork, project management, and creativity.
  • English and Mandarin speaking proficiency is essential to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
