Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and certified Mechanical Facilities Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance (O&M) of local scrubber systems, with close coordination alongside the HVAC and Mechanical O&M teams. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CEPSO certification (Certified Environmental Professional in Scrubber Operation) from DOSH Malaysia and possess relevant industry experience, preferably within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform day-to-day operations and preventive/corrective maintenance of local scrubber systems.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH regulations and environmental health and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with the HVAC and Mechanical Facilities O&M teams to support integrated facilities operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed documentation and reporting.
• Conduct inspections, maintain SOPs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and junior staff where necessary.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance activities, parts replacement, and upgrades.

Requirements

• CEPSO (Certified Environmental Professional in Scrubber Operation) certified by DOSH Malaysia - Mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in scrubber system operation and maintenance.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities or high-tech environments is preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and industrial exhaust systems.
• Willingness to be on-call and work in shifts if required.
