A leading engineering firm in Malaysia seeks a rotating equipment specialist to manage technical processes and act as mechanical lead on FPSO projects. Candidates should have 10-15 years of engineering experience, including a full cycle of FPSO execution and detailed engineering for process packages. Job description

The candidate shall be responsible for rotating equipment specialist and also technical management Specialist of Process Packages like GDU, HCDP, Separator, Coalescer -Desalter etc., who can also work as mechanical lead for a medium sized FPSO -Topsides. The minimum working experience should be about 10-15 years with one full cycle of FPSO execution as part of engineering team, preferably as lead or deputy lead. Exposure to mechanical packages and static will be also be preferred.

High Level Requirements of candidate:

• Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree from recognized college.
• Strength & Interest in FEED /Concept Engineering.
• Detailed Engineering experience required for large size process and machinery packages/Vendor design/drawing review.
• Construction & Operation support exposure good to have.
• FEED/Basic Engineering & Detailed Design Experience of working in a FPSO Project, at least one in a senior position or lead.
• Working Experience in Petrobras Projects . Knowledge in Brazil Regulatory Compliance and various critical NRs.
• 10-15 years’ Engineering Experience.
• Expert level proficiency in GTG, compressors (API 617) and centrifugal pumps (API 610 – BB5) and Exposure and Expertise in Topsides Process Packages.
