An engineering team that specializes in the development of world class digital two-way subscriber radios for the mission critical market.

Job Description
  • Work together with global team on customer escalated issues
  • Identify issues, root causes and establish a plan to ensure the resolution of customer escalated issues in a timely manner
  • Design and conduct experiments using statistical tools and techniques to confirm root causes
  • Evaluate new or existing designs to confor**m to product specifications
  • Determine and implement changes to enhance design or meet functional specifications
  • Work with various cross functional team such as Quality, Product, Process Engineer and supplier and follow up with respective team on the closure of each activity & ensure schedule is being met
  • Work with supply chain to obtain qualification slots for new design improvement evaluation, and follow-up through the completion of piece-part/ product qualification
Basic Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Self-motivated, assertive and results driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Possess strong analytical/logic and problem solving skill
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have basic knowledge in material properties & design guidelines of mechanical commodity such as plastic & sheet metal
  • Understand manufacturing operation & assembly processes
  • Familiar with the application of Design for Manufacturability & Assembly will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with Creo 3d software will be added advantage
