Overview

Top E-Panel Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Drafter to join our growing team in Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and designs to support the delivery of our electrical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical and electrical drawings for switchboard and panel design
• Modify and update drawings according to engineers' or project requirements
• Update and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including bills of materials and schematics
• Support the project management team by providing progress updates and addressing queries
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our drafting processes and standards

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Drafter, ideally in the engineering or manufacturing industries
• Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or Inventor
• Strong technical interpretation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
