Job Details

This role requires a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be responsible for the full spectrum of mechanical design, from conceptualization to final documentation. Your role will involve generating detailed machine drawings, performing system integration, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. You will also be a key collaborator, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Generate conceptual and detailed drawings for machinery.
• System Integration and Testing: Perform subsystem hardware integration on the machine and evaluate machine performance through testing.
• Project Management and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Follow up on fabricated and standard parts to ensure the project is delivered on time.
• Documentation: Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) and drawings are updated with the latest revision. Prepare machine spare parts lists and document machine operation in the machine manual.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project outcomes. Liaise with suppliers for special or urgent requests.

Qualifications

• Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of experience in automation design and proficiency in SolidWorks.
