Job description

To ensure production operation being carried out smoothly.

To perform all minor mechanical repairs when requested by supervisor or machine operators.

To assist Supervisor for machine maintenance and maintain the cleanliness of workstation.

Execute machine operators to work according to schedule as planned by supervisor.

To ensure shift operators follow instructions as given by supervisor.

To comply with the requirement of the documented quality management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components of production machines.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and lubrication schedules to reduce unplanned breakdowns.
• Replace or adjust defective parts, using tools such as lathes, grinders, welding equipment, and hand tools.
• Assist in the installation, alignment, and setup of new machines and production lines.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements or modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring issues to the maintenance supervisor or engineer.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Mechanics preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in machinery maintenance or industrial mechanical repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and alignment techniques.
