Job summary

A leading solutions provider in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is looking for a candidate to manage material requisition planning and streamline inventory processes. This role requires a diploma in Business Studies or equivalent, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in Purchasing or Inventory Management, preferably in the electronics manufacturing sector. This position involves optimizing inventory turnover and JIT delivery to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform material requisition planning for customer orders.
• Work on material replenishment with CS and Purchasing.
• Manage JIT delivery to prevent line downtime.
• Analyze order vs forecast data.

Responsibilities

• Perform material requisition planning to support customer PO and forecast.
• Work closely with CS and Purchasing on material replenishment planning to minimize inventory while fulfilling customer order.
• Manage material JIT delivery and prevent line down.
• Ensure effective actions taken against sole source and long lead time components.
• Maximize Inventory Turnover Rate.
• Perform data analysis on the actual order vs forecast, highlight to CS when there is a slow moving part.
• Flexible on the scheduling.
• Work on continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Required skills: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably candidate specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Preferably from electronics manufacturing background.
